This is a real recurring nightmare I used to have from age 4 to age 12. The lion used to chase me, and wherever it walked the ground would bleed. They were always painful dreams, and about a year after I stopped having them I began to fight the biggest battle of my life against multiple chronic, painful diseases that I still fight with to this day.

I actually used to have a very similar dream, but it was a freak canine and it would always end up smashing into the back window of a car.. getting blood and teeth everywhere. I was always in the trunk.

The description really added to this. The fact that this beast seemed to foreshadow your illness is eerie. It must've taken on a more realistic form, in this case the form of the diseases you face :o

This is really creep because i used to have the same fear. Then i kept having nightmares of me running through these dark woods with a lion chasing after me, it looked exactly like this pretty much! Bleeding and everything, just more of a ... fluffy/hairy mane. But great job on this!
